Jenna I. Liu, M.D. attended undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University, and was one of the few students selected into the Pre-Professional Scholars Program in addition to receiving a four-year Andrew Squire full scholarship and graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa in three years, double majoring in Biology and Music. She then entered medical school and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2003 with honors in Neoplastic Disorders. Dr. Liu completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at University of California, San Diego. She has special interest and expertise in all aspects of MRI including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body imaging, and breast imaging. She is particularly interested in breast cancer and mammography. Dr. Liu is currently the Chair of Department of Radiology at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, President of the San Diego Radiological Society, and full partner as well as Vice President of X-Ray Medical Group. In addition, she is an accomplished concert violinist and pianist who has performed in Europe, Asian, North America, and was invited to perform at the White House under the Clinton administration in 1995.
